Bear Fox grew up on a small farm. She is the youngest in a family of 14.
Music was a big part of her family. Her mother played harmonica and piano. Two of her brothers, Roy and Ronnie, sang traditional songs and played guitar. Her sister Betty, played guitar and sang her to sleep at night.
These positive role models planted the seeds for her musical connection.
